Class B agromet observatory, with all meteorological instruments is maintained and observations are taken twice daily, at 7:22 hrs. and 14:22 hrs. respectively. This weather data is sent regularly to the INDIA METEOROLOGICAL DEPARTMENT (IMD) headquarters at New Delhi. Weather data is also downloaded on an hourly basis from an automatic weather station installed by IMD. Besides this, the daily weather data comprising of maximum temperature, minimum temperature, forenoon relative humidity, afternoon relative humidity, rainfall and evaporation are displayed in front of the Deans's office and the RARS(SZ).
